Top 5 Food Delivery Apps on Android in Portugal: Q4 2024

In the final quarter of 2024, the performance of food delivery services on the Android platform in Portugal displayed diverse trends, according to data provided by Sensor Tower.

Glovo: Food & Grocery Delivery observed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 6K at the beginning of October and peaking at about 6.3K by the end of December. The weekly active users initially declined from 190K to 170K but then rose significantly to reach around 200K by the year's end.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at about 6K and dipping to approximately 2.8K mid-quarter before recovering to 4.7K by late December. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 129K, decreasing to 91K, and finally rising to 101K.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery maintained a relatively stable download rate, fluctuating around the 3.5K to 4K range, with a notable spike to 5.5K in the week before Christmas. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a low of 254K and a high reaching 306K.

Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway saw gradual growth in downloads, moving from 3.5K to 5.2K by the end of December. Active users exhibited a steady upward trend, growing from 84K to 96K over the quarter.

Finally, Vivino: Drink the Right Wine showed significant growth in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose dramatically from 350 to 1.7K, while active users increased from about 15K to 36K by the quarter's close. Revenue also saw a peak of $179 in late November.
